In this room the septic, that means the infected wounds, are provided. These rooms are separated from the other operation-rooms, in which the aseptic, that means the not infected wounds, are provided.

Following wounds are septic wounds:

Inflammation of the nail-basis because of a ingrown toenail
Ulcus cruis (open wounds)
Sinus pilonidalis (fistula of the coccyx)
